3D. Finally.

With Blender 2.8, it’s finally easy to do some basic things in 3d. This is something I’ve wanted to dabble in over the years, but Blender was always just hard enough to use that I could never seem to get very far. Now, I’m picking it up again with 2.8 and doing some basic low poly stuff. It’s actually fun now, instead of painful.

Building Scene

To get started, some simple shapes like ancient houses make a nice easy subject to fill a scene. This gives me a little playground where I can start to model all sorts of objects and see how they might fit into a larger work.

As time goes on, if more comes of this, I’ll be sure to share it here.
